Eucalyptus Home 2016
With the profuse presence of Eucalyptus amongst Australia’s unique landscape, the work is inspired by the tales of when the soldiers were returning home from World War II, and they could smell the eucalyptus even before sighting the shore. The felted seascape is infused with eucalyptus leaves and audience is invited to approach the work and enjoy the its scent.
