The image depicted was inspired by a 'Critique Me,' a portrait that I had previously completed. The laborious and strictly sequential process of printing creates an interesting contrast to the spontaneity in which the above-mentioned painting was created.

 

As the polar opposite of the print itself, the linoleum sheet possesses its own individual beauty from the pattern of the carving strokes and colors.
