Centre 2016
Inspired by ceramicist Takeshi Yasuda’s use of spontaneity to explore beauty within process, Centre captures moments of frustration and success in each bowl. Nearing ideal or entirely deformed, each bowl is a refection of an attempt at meditation, to forget my surroundings through immense concentration in syncing my breath and my hands.
